Training is not something that happens only in sessions. Every time a behaviour is rewarded — deliberately or accidentally — the dog learns something.
One household, one set of rules
If one person allows the dog on the sofa and another does not, the dog cannot know what is expected. Agree cues and rules together.
Little and often
Short, upbeat sessions spread through the day are usually more effective than long ones. End while the dog is still succeeding.
