Understanding the Needs of Senior Dogs
Older dogs slow down, but their need for comfort, company and engagement does not.

As dogs age, their bodies and routines change. Noticing those changes early helps keep them comfortable.
Comfort
Supportive bedding, non-slip flooring, ramps or steps and gentler, shorter walks can make daily life easier.
Health
More frequent veterinary checks are often recommended for older dogs. Changes in mobility, appetite, thirst, sleep or behaviour are worth discussing rather than assuming they are 'just age'.
Engagement
Gentle scent games and short training sessions keep older minds active and strengthen your bond.
